I challenged myself to write a song in each room in my apartment and Swing Set came from writing near my kitchen window. I could hear kids playing out side and birds making nests under AC units. Both of these elements inspired the song. I used bird samples throughout the song and named it after my favorite thing to do at a park when I was kid which was to play on the swing set. Swing Set is my way of capturing some of my childhood summer vibes in song.
